Cain Velasquez was denied bail for the second time after the shooting victim took an interest since the episode, pledging that he feared for his family’s life.
As directed by the Santa Clara County Chief Prosecutor, Cain Velasquez was chasing a vehicle containing Harry Eugene Goularte. He is accused of assaulting an underage relative of Velasquez.
The 39-year-old retiring mixed military craftsman fired his registered handgun at the vehicle when one of the shots struck Goularte’s stepfather, Paul Bender.
During the awakening of Cain Velasquez on May 16, the stepfather claimed that he had lost his job on three fingers due to injuries to his arm from gunfire turned on his arm.

Goularte was released without bail after his arraignment in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Feb. 25.
Velasquez, 39, supposedly searched for a vehicle that contained Goularte before firing numerous rounds into the vehicle with his enlisted .40 handgun, hitting the driver.
Goularte’s mother, Patricia, who was also in the vehicle, called 911 for help. Before long, Velasquez was imprisoned and charged with numerous crimes, including attempted murder.
