Justin and his younger brother John were sent home from a Barnardo’s consideration when their parents separated.
He and John were hugged by Alf and Betty Jackson when they were six years old, growing up in Shropham, Norfolk. Fashanu succeeded in boxing as a youngster and was supposed to consider a professional boxing profession over his football vocation.
