Hemant started his calling with the dramatization film Kya Tum Ho as Amrit in 2006. He appeared in the heartfelt dramatization film Notebook in 2019 as Principal. He took on the role of Watchman in the heartfelt movie Unpaused in 2020.
In 2020, he appeared with the series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story as Ashwin Mehta, the brother of Harshad Mehta. The show follows the existence of Harshad Mehta, a stockbroker who propelled the stock market.
He made his presentation as an author with the TV unscripted TV drama Shabaash India on Zee TV in 2006. His various shows include Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2009, Just Dance 2011, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2012, Dil Deke Dekho from 2016- 17 , and horse stable jo jeeta wohi Sikander 2021.
