Birth and early life Arjan Bajwa was born on September 3, 1979 in New Delhi into the Punjabi Jatt Sikh family. His father, Swinderjeet Singh Bajwa, was a former New Delhi Mayor’s Representative from the BJP and his brother, Yuvraj Bajwa, is an entertainer. He has a degree in engineering.

Arjan made his debut in 2001 with the Telugu film Sampangi. After that, he acted in hardly any Telugu films and made his Bollywood debut with Who Tera Naam Tha in 2003. He gained recognition for the lead role of himself as an adversary in Mani Ratnam’s film Guru in 2007.Arjan took on the role of Maanav Bhasin in the 2008 dramatization film Fashion where he acted alongside Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Arbaaz Khan.

Additionally, he won the Breakthrough Performance Grant at the Stardust Awards for the film. She acted in Arundhati, a Telugu frightening dream film in 2008, which emerged as one of the most interesting Telugu films of the time.

Arjan has worked on a few movies including Son of Sardaar, Crook, Bobby Jasoos, Rustom, Kabir Singh and that’s just the beginning. He made his Tamil introduction in 2019 with Bigil. His debut Punjabi film is Himmat Singh. Arjan has worked on some web series, State of Siege: 11/26 and Bestseller.

Arjan Bajwa was born and raised in New Delhi, India. Arjan is named after the fifth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Arjan needed to become a pilot before he could start demonstrating and performing. Arjan is an eminent model and has done TV commercials for brands like Lux, Veet, Godrej AC and from there the sky is the limit. Arjan is the leading North Indian artist to play leading roles in some Telugu films.

Arjan has also facilitated some events such as the Filmfare (South) Fellowships in 2007, the closing of the India Goa International Film Festival in 2010 and 2014, the opening function of the 5th annual Kabaddi World Cup held in Jalandhar, Punjab and the Awards of PTC Punjabi Cinema in 2014 and 2016. He is a dark belt in Taekwondo. He likes to play tennis, practice Taekwondo, watch movies and travel.
