Rep. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina delivered an extreme analysis in addressing US Supreme Court equity competitor Ketanji Brown Jackson about her confidence, including whether she can “make a decent judgment on a Catholic” and how important is your confidence for her “in a size one to ten.”
Her comments, which regularly prevented Justice Jackson from responding, seemed to infer that moderate Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who was selected to the Supreme Court by Donald Trump, was unfairly treated during her affirmation hearings by her political rivals.
“Coincidentally, how confident are you?” she asked. “Would you have the option to reasonably judge a Catholic? … I’m just getting information about how great your confidence is in yourself.” “My trust is vital to me, Senator,” Justice Jackson said, “however, as you probably know, there is no strict test in the Constitution.”
He continued to butt into her reactions when the rep posed additional test questions, for example, if she goes to chapel constantly and “on a size one to ten, how strict would you say she is?”
