Suchitra went to St. Joseph’s Convent Secondary School in Mumbai. She has a degree in electronic design. She sought out a TV studio creation course in London. Suchitra began her vocation as a model and did not do many demonstrations before moving to London. She landed her first job in a French film Le prix d’une femme in 1993.
