Birth and background Riddhi Sen was born on May 19, 1998 in Calcutta, West Bengal. He is the son of Bengali stage and film actor Kaushik Sen and artist Reshmi Sen. Animators Chitra Sen and Shyamal Sen are his grandparents. He went to South Point High School in Kolkata.

Riddhi started acting from the age of 3 and performed for the first time in an auditorium play called Prachya. She has acted in some plays, notably Banku Babur Bandhu, Dakghor, Bhalo, Rakkhosher and Birpurush.

Riddhi made his appearance in the cinema in 2010 with the film Iti Mrinalini. He later appeared in the Bollywood film Kahani starring Vidya Balan in 2012. Riddhi became a familiar face after taking on the role of Anindya Chatterjee in Open Tee Bioscope. She has acted in Parched taking on the role of Gulab. Riddhi’s works in Bhoomi, Samantaral, Nagarkirtan, Eela brought him immense recognition and a fan base.

Riddhi has appeared in some web series specifically Feluda, Panch Phoron, Boyfriends and Girlfriends, Sundarbaner Vidyaasagar and more. Personal Life Riddhi Sen is currently in a relationship with artist Surangana Bandyopadhyay. They met while working on Anindya Chattopadhyay’s debut film Open Tee Bioscope. The team worked on some film and theater projects together.

Riddhi Sen was born and raised in Calcutta, West Bengal. In 2022, he appeared in Hoichoi’s web series Sunderbaner Vidhyasagar. He played the lead role of Kaushik Ganguly in the film Nagarkirtan, which won him the National Film Award for Best Actor. Sen’s performance in the film was also ranked in the top 100 performances of the ten years by Film Companion. He also acted in a short film Satya Dar Coaching. Riddhi accepts that he is an adult as well as an idiot and fool. He likes to watch movies and sing. He has a propensity for muttering movie speeches most of the time.
