Where Is Lamont Edwards Now? Wiki, Biography, Age, Spouse, Net Worth, Fast Facts

The town of New Haven in Connecticut was frozen on August 8, 2014, as a gruesome shooting left one dead and two others fighting for their lives at the medical clinic. When police and duty specialists arrived at the crime scene, they found 15-year-old Jacob Craggett shot to death. Research Discovery’s ‘Royal Conviction: A Generational Curse’ chronicles the murder and shows how the police had the opportunity to cast a net around the culprit. How about we dive into the subtleties of bad deeds and find out where Jacob is from now on, will we?

How did Jacob Craggett die? Jacob Craggett was a fifteen-year-old high school student who was in love with life. Very famous in school, Jacob was portrayed as someone with a big heart who loved making new classmates. A promising soccer player, Jacob longed for great success in everyday life and had high expectations for his future. His friends and family were unfamiliar with the horrible display that would bring his desires to the ground.

On August 8, 2014, Jacob was in a vehicle with his brother Joshua Craggett, Joshua’s partner, Timothy Jones, and another individual. As the vehicle approached Vernon Street and Davenport Avenue, two individuals equipped with weapons began firing non-stop at Jacob’s vehicle.

With Joshua suffering from a gunshot wound, a worried Jacob escaped the vehicle to check on his brother. That was the point at which the assailants shot him down without hesitation before fleeing.

When the police showed up, they found Jacob and Joshua at the crime scene and took them to a nearby clinic. Unfortunately, it had already passed the point of no return for Jacob when he capitulated to his injuries, and an autopsy confirmed that he had died from his gunshot wounds. Joshua discovered how to win the battle against death and gradually recovered, while Timothy Jones drove to a clinic and received treatment for his injuries.

Who killed Jacob Craggett? The initial investigation into the Jacob Craggett homicide was delayed as police tried to classify suspects and persons of interest. Since Jacob was a 15-year-old high school student, people had no idea why anyone would want to hurt him.

In addition, Joshua also had good return locally and had no separate enemies or opponents. Surprisingly, the police soon ran into another problem where witnesses and people who seemed to know something about the culprits did not talk to the police. The group of people seemed to cling to an apparent apprehension about the contras or even being the next victim.

With the fear variable in play, the police understood that the people involved in the manslaughter would have extensive criminal histories. However, they were tenacious in their interest in the truth and, with the help of Jacob’s mother, they finally figured out how to make a leap forward.

According to the program, different sources informed the specialists that a habitual author and well-known inmate, Lamont “Duce” Edwards, was available at the scene of the murder. Additionally, there were also traces of Timothy Jones eating a hamburger with Lamont, giving the speculator a murder intent.

When further examination proved Lamont’s association certain, the police went ahead with the task of obtaining an arrest warrant. At the time of his capture, Lamont was arrested at the time on charges inconsequential to Jacob’s murder. He had also recently been convicted of second-degree assault with a weapon, first-degree robbery and some drug and substance abuse-related offenses.

Where could Lamont Edwards be now? When he appeared in court, Lamont demanded his innocence and filed a request for a non-liability authority. However, the jury disagreed and, on second thought, convicted him of first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault with a weapon, and transportation of a weapon without a grant.

Thus, in 2017, Lamont was sentenced to 50 years in prison for manslaughter, along with 15 years each for the attack and five years for carrying a weapon without a permit. As such, Lamont remains incarcerated at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield, Connecticut, and will be released at 2100.
