How did Asia Adams die? Asia Adams was a 21-year-old brain science student at West Chester University in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She was a substitute intern who intended to focus on nursing from now on. Asia was described by all as a warm, friendly, and caring person, and was incredibly close to her mother, Shelah Harper. Within days of the episode, the young understudy had come home from school to visit her mother in Germantown.

During that visit in November 2004, Shelah went on a work trip while Asia stayed at the house. However, things took a shocking turn when on the morning of November 8, 2004, her neighbors heard a sound and saw smoke coming from the second floor of the house. Every time firefighters and police appeared on the scene, a ghastly sight awaited them.

The body of a lady was found in one of the rooms on the next floor. Besides the fact that she seriously consumed him, she was also exposed starting from her waist. Some time later, Thomas “weakened” him to slit Asia’s throat and she was injured multiple times. When she died, the team took $500, Visas and keys from her bag and left her. They came back the next morning, wrapped her in a blanket, and took her to the front room on the next floor. After putting her to bed, they set fire to the house to kill her followers.

On November 15, 2004, Thomas and Simeon were captured and boarded as the night wore on. The two ultimately admitted to being associated with Asia’s disappearance and were charged the next day with first degree murder, robbery, arson, weapons offenses and related offenses. Thomas further expressed in her admission that Asia was killed due to a dispute with her over him and Simeon.

In November 2007, Simeon Bozic was indicted on all of the charges listed above, but was offered a plea deal to assert against Thomas Strode as compensation for avoiding capital punishment. Thomas was also charged and agreed to give up his reassessment privileges in exchange for not receiving capital punishment. He showed no bow or affirmation in his preliminary, but after being asked if he repented, he said that he “had shown his repentance to God in his cell block three years before.”
