Following the huge success of Squid Game, it seems that Korean dramas are really asserting their mark on Netflix, with the next project All of Us Are Dead previously overwhelming stage ideas. According to Deadline, the repulsive series continues in leaps and bounds of Squid Game and has risen to the top of Netflix’s Top 10 daily roundup in the US. With its rising prominence, All of Us Are Dead is anticipated to unseat the resistance show as the most-watched single series on the streaming site.
Plot of We all Are Dead The Loathsomeness series revolves around a youth gathering at a high school where a horrendous scourge is spreading. Anyone contaminated in a short time becomes a zombie target to destroy the survivors. While getting outside help proves to be more of a problem, the leftover group is forced to confront the undead and go to great lengths to avoid joining their rapidly increasing numbers.
We all are Dead We all Are Dead is not similar to previous zombie projects or movies. The Netflix series tends towards the zombie thrill ride type with a gigantic plot twist. Unlike previous shows like Train to Busan, Alive, and Sweet Home, which featured adults struggling to escape the end of the world, this one shows trapped teenagers. As stated by boss Lee Jae-Kyoo, there is a special reason for making high school kids the heroes of the show. It was made to showcase the huge differences in the decisions that a young child and an adult make when faced with a risky situation.
“Until not too long ago, most zombie movies were obsessed with adults. This series, on the other hand, chronicles the existence of children who still can’t seem to fully develop and blend in.” We’ve seen it in movies like Train to Busan, where the hero is almost constantly trying to make the best decision in light of carefully vetted reasoning. Young people, on the other hand, will more often than not make “more dangerous decisions.”
We are all dead “Whenever adults find themselves in a dangerous position, everyone will seek a safer path.” Children, on the other hand, make more dangerous decisions. I wanted to make a story that would motivate people to consider being an adult and a person by seeing the decisions and practices of young people in dire straits.”
Netflix is already showing each of the twelve episodes of All of Us Are Dead. While the open ending of season 1 does propose a later season, it has yet to be officially declared.
